Eric Baudart pays particular attention to objects and debris from post-industrial urban life: mattress springs, blades from an obsolete and tired fan, an accumulation of concert posters, or even the mechanism of a child's toy. Through simple gestures such as applying color, making a punctual deformation, or simply displacing the object from its environment and integrating it into the artistic space, the sculptor reveals the aesthetic and poetic potential of these elements.
