Velvet print, rod, fasteners, castings

An thick velvet curtain on which an image of the interior of a cave is printed hangs on the wall. Resting on the floor and protruding from the bottom of the curtain is a casting of a pair of pale gray feet, stone-colored. The body fades, blending with the folds of the curtain and the cave-like image. Encounter with a clandestine apparition of an in-between world, blurring the stability of boundaries between inside and outside, past and present, the space of representation and the represented.
