"Imbriller," a verb from the 1st group: the action of an interior light that stretches and vibrates towards the walls of the object containing it, when it experiences an intense shared emotion. Almost imperceptible to the naked eye [...], imbriller is often an internal expression where the subject feels [...] that other subjects are also imbrilling. For example: "We are having a collective experience of this work, I feel an intensity within, it is clear that we are imbrilling." We imbrill is conceived as a gentle internal energy that binds us. However, these words encounter the frustrations inherent in communication: no one understands them in the same way. We imbrill is formulated in green neon, which evokes both the luminous signs of cities, the realm of science, and even that of science fiction. The light is not static: it vibrates slightly. The words float, so that reading is experienced like a dream. In 2024, I conceived We imbrill as a breath within our own imperatives of performance. It reminds us that what constitutes society, beyond its economy, is the collective of individuals who compose it and the ways in which they come together.
