Sculpture, brass, wood, glass, and sand, 3 x 50 x 3 cm

This object embodies a simple hybridization between an hourglass and a level. The sand of the hourglass replaces the liquid and air bubble of the level. The sand evenly fills both the left and right parts of the hourglass, suggesting the linearity of time while making the moment an indicator of balance.
