Le maquis (Woodland)

Baptiste CROZE
2020

cut tent, 160 x 160 x 185 cm

Le maquis subtracts the camouflage pattern from everyday objects (bags, tents, vehicles...). Once the pattern is removed, the naked structure of the object remains. It represents camouflage through emptiness. This work presents variations based on different camouflage types (US M81 Woodland, Daguet, Flecktarn, Razzle Dazzle, Universal Camo, GhostCamo, among others) and the structures used (tent, poncho, umbrella...).
